We have designed the course with short, easy to take-in videos that are only 5-30 minutes. Big blocks of time do not need to be scheduled. The videos can be watched during lunch break or when you have a few minutes of downtime.
You can ask questions about cases, equipment, and expected outcomes as often as you like. Feel free to browse through the other questions that have been asked.
At a minimum, you will need a computer with stable internet in order to access the course and forum. That’s it! Having access to a laser while watching the videos is great, but not required.
While we love your enthusiasm and appreciate your interest in laser therapy for your pets, this course was designed solely for medical professionals and is not intended for use by pet parents without prior medical knowledge or experience. See our courses for pet parents!
This course was created with all experience levels in mind. Whether you’ve been using laser therapy in your practice for years or you’re brand new to this modality and don’t own a machine yet, you will find the content accessible, engaging and life-changing for your patients. Having access to a laser while watching the videos is helpful, but not required.
Throughout the course, we cover inputs for multiple different laser manufacturers, as well as settings for all classes of laser. We did this intentionally to ensure that everyone enrolled in the course can achieve optimum results, no matter which machine they have!
Our sponsors were carefully chosen by Dr. McCauley, herself, in order to achieve OPV’s educational objectives for this course. Optimum Pet Vitality will only ever partner with companies that share our commitment to quality, integrity, and improving the lives of pets everywhere.
Yes! Optimum Laser Therapy is RACE Approved for 20 CEUs. After watching all videos & scoring at least a 70% or higher on all quizzes, fill in your information in the last module. From there we will confirm you have passed the quizzes, verify your course completion, and email your certificate asap.
Though we don’t recommend it, you could. You can listen to the lectures from 0.5 up to 2x speed. This allows you to slow it down to take notes or speed it up if it is something you already know but want to see if there are golden tidbits for you.
All quizzes need to be passed to obtain RACE credits, but don’t worry, the goal is to get you to learn, not stress out. If you do not pass a quiz, you can simply retake it until you do pass it.
You can ask questions inside the course module, the OPV team will respond to you, or you can ask questions in the community and either your classmates or the OPV team will respond.
Absolutely, the more the merrier. We would sign them up as a group. We offer package discounts for 3 and 5 members.
