Frequently Asked Questions

Will I know everything there is to know about fascia?

No, this is a 101 course, there are whole textbooks written about fascia. But you will know enough to:

  •
  • Understand the role of the fascia in the body
  • Find trigger points and be capable of quickly relieving them
  • Understand some of the basic principles of taping, you can then try it on your patients
  • Be able to understand the basic principles of IASTM and begin to practice on your patients
  • Learn the basics about the use of tuning forks
  • Use some manual techniques that will relax your patients and decrease or eliminate muscle stiffness and soreness

When will I use fascia work?

You can use your new skills on almost every patient that walks in your door to improve their quality of life. At a minimum, you can add fascia work to any patient that has a lameness or muscle issue. For those of you who are used to doing chiropractic care, manual therapy, or massage, you can apply your new fascia skills immediately for all of your patients.

How soon can I use the treatments I am learning?

Immediately! If you have your dog sitting with you, you can practice on them while you watch the videos.

How long does a treatment take to administer?

A treatment depends upon what you're doing. In some cases, the issue can be addressed in 20-30 seconds. Longer if you are treating a larger part of the patient’s body.
